16 Feb 2020: Miami Well last night at 6 we sailed into Nassau to get our sick patient off the ship and off to hospital. The port looked full with 4 ships in port but thank goodness there was one spot left for us to dock. Was getting dark when we sailed in and just enough time to get some pics of the sail in. Must admit love this port a beautiful place and always busy. With all the ships the place was lit up and a pretty sight. We docked and got the patient off the ship in less than 45 min, she was loaded into the ambulance and it had not left the port when our ship was on its way again. So dit was omtrent n vinnige storie, lyk my hulle speel nie.

9 Feb 2020: Miami The island day i decided to not get off because the weather was not great ,was overcast and the sea was rough, so i spent the day on board. Hubby had another rough night and hardly slept. Die corona virus storie veroorsaak omtrent choas en agv dit moes liefie aanboord bly en sy dag af in Miami is gekanseleer,so die was nie n baie gelukkige man nie.Ek is toe alleen middestad toe. When i woke this morning and looked through our porthole i could see that a marathon is underway on the road to Miami Beach. Sure enough when i got to downtown there were people all over the place and the half and full Miami marathon was in full swing. People, runners, music and stalls all over the waterfront. Today was 21 degrees so very glad not warmer for them, last week it was 12 degrees when we got off the ship. Only 2 ships were in port today so very quiet and must say was nice, rustig. Moet erken raak nou lui vir rondloop en plekke gaan kyk.was mos al hierso so het ...

2 Feb 2020: Miami Hubby was on duty so i could get straight off after breakfast but this time i was ready for the cold Miami early morning air.Regte woestyn weer!! Am not complaining at all for i prefer the cooler weather. So off i went and took me 30 minutes to get to downtown and that is walking rustig. 5/6 ships were in port so full house for the day. The downtown was buzzing and they had a huge Christian concert in the stadium near the waterfront. The music was very loud and could listen to the music while just sitting outside the stadium. Dit was nogal mooi met kore wat sing en die mooiste mooiste stemme, het gese iemand bekend sing daar maar nie uitgekom by wie dit was nie. Then it was time for some shopping and visiting Marshalls one of the big stores the crew always visits for specials! Could not believe it, when someone in this store touched my arm to say hi, was toe wraggies iemand wat op ons vorige skip van SA kom en by die kinders gewerk het Sy was toe o...
