Miami & Caribbean 2020

23 January 2020 :   Tortola Today we arrived early morning but i decided to only get off later in the morning. The port has lots of shops for shopping but i seem to be done with shopping for now, don’t know how long that one will last!! Hubby had meeting at 11.30 and we are leaving again at 14h00 so not much time so no walking about for him today Outside it is hot and i mean real mean hot!! So decided was not going to leave the port area today, maybe next time.Then it was time to look for a place to cool down and have free wifi so a local bar was the place and there i have to admit i had to order something to get the free wifi and a cocktail made its way to my table before lunch time!!! 20 January 2020: @ Sea We left Miami at 16h00 on a perfect day, my plan was to join the passengers on the top deck to enjoy the beautiful views with sailaway but never got there for my 2 suitcases made there appearance and i decided to rather unpack and get settled in. Did not take long to invade my poor husbands space and then it was time to put the suitcases away until it is time to fly home again in 9 weeks time. The ship is beautiful and brand new,so alles blink en lyk mooi.Ek verkies die kleiner skepe maar moet erken die een is mooi en goed beplan,die eetsaal mooi ruim en die obervasie dek is regtig iets besonders,daar is n rustige gevoel met die lekkerste le banke en kussings met groot vensters met n uitsig oor die see. Ek vermoed dit is waar ek baie van my tyd gaan deurbring want die rasserige areas nie vir my nie. 17 January 2020: PE / ZURICH / MIAMI Miami here we come!! Looking forward to see hubby again. Its been a long 5 weeks but we have made it!! Had a good time at home with our family and friends  and just LOVE my home. My happy place. The smell of rain is in the air so leaving home with that promise, its on its way and is coming. This time round we are on a brand a new ship sailing from the home port of Miami. Flew with Swiss Air which was great and a first for me.Everything went smoothly, no hiccups after my last stressful flights and very nearly missing my connecting flight in JHB with minutes to spare because of delays of 3/4 hours from PE. Left home with no Eskom drama , only no air cons on at the airport , only big fans doing the job and half the lights on in our departure area.
